On 19 August 2016, CGI Frankfurt organised a Networking event on board the 'Wolfgang von Goethe' ship on the occasion of 2 years of the 'Make in India' campaign launched by the Government of India in 2014 to promote and attract foreign investment into India Frankfurt. In his welcome remarks Consul General Mr. Raveesh Kumar highlighted that Germany has been an important economic and trade partner for India which has also been reflected in the rising investment figures over the last two years between the two countries. He also thanked the audience for their whole hearted support towards the MII initiative and for their active contribution towards bringing the two countries closer. A quiz was conducted by Dr. Hrishikesh Kulkarni, Senior Vice President, Fresenius Kabi on India and Germany politics and culture which added flavour to the event. The event was attended by over 80 members from the Indian and German business community from CGI, Frankfurt jurisdiction.
